Cronos and his children
Cronos, after killing his own father, obtained a profecy from the oracles that read 'your son will be stronger than you and eventually kill you.
This scared cronos so after every child he had was born, he would swallow them whole. Believing that would keep him safe from his fate.
However, his wife gave birth to zeus
and was sick of her children being eaten. She hid him away and in place of her child, fed cronos a rock dressed in babies clothes.
Fooling him completly.
However, this child was zeus. One day, cronos ended up vomiting up all of his children. Fully grown and powerful.
Athena however, popped out of his head with armor and a shield with her spear.
